I titled this "Wise Words" because of the link to Barry's blog ... not to insinuate that any of my words were wise!

Both within blog posts, and in linked PRBC sermons and their titles, scripture quotations and readings are generally taken from the (NASB®) New American Standard Bible®, Copyright © 1960, 1971, 1977, 1995 by The Lockman Foundation. All rights reserved. lockman.org. I have sometimes quoted scripture from memory, though, and may have occasionally mixed translations, or not gotten the quotation just right, or both. When scriptural quotations or readings are taken from other translations, that is sometimes noted.

Italicized or bold emphasis within scriptural quotations is inserted by the author of the blog.
